Public Use of Facilities

There are still many homes without power as of Tuesday morning, May 24, 2022.

Road crews have been out working on the most challenging road situations.

We ask that the public please be patient during this time. Unfortunately, there is extensive damage throughout the Municipality, and our crew will be working on this situation, likely, for weeks to come.

Please refer to Hydro One for all power outage information. Updates are available by texting or visiting their website. Unfortunately, municipal staff does not have the most up-to-date information on power restoration.

To report a Bell line down you can call their general number 1-888-214-7896 (Monday to Sunday, 6:30 a.m. to midnight).

The Fire Hall and Community Hub located at 15651 Highway 62 will be open between 9am – 4pm for those wishing to access facilities or to charge their devices, also the outside water tap will remain on 24/7

Please be safe – be aware of fallen or low hanging wires, be patient as services are restored and check on your neighbours and seniors in the community.
