| The final stage of the program to reduce recyclable material from being land filled is the garbage bag limit that is effective on September 1, 2008. Commencing that date, only two (2) bags per week of household garbage will be collected from residential properties and only six (6) bags per week from Commercial and Industrial establishments. We are pleased and proud of the people of Madoc Township and Centre Hastings for the great job in reducing the land filled material by more than 35% while increasing recycled material by the same amount.
